Knightsbridge Trading Company: New Gift Store Opening in Clarendon, Arlington

Exciting news for Arlington! A wonderful new home decor and gift store is set to open in Clarendon this weekend. It’s called Knightsbridge Trading Company.

The retail store’s convenient location is 2871 Clarendon Blvd. So, it’s on the North side of the street, in the stretch with Lulu Lemon and Baha Fresh, to name a couple of tenants there. It’s close to Metro and Capital Bikeshare, and there is metered parking on both sides of the street, right out front.

Knightsbridge Trading Company, per their website, has a broad array of merchandise, including body-care products, home accessories, picture frames, candles, lamps and greeting cards – to name just some items.

It’s a great addition to the existing mix of retail and restaurants in Clarendon, I think. In particular, I am always on the lookout for gift ideas for friends, family and clients. Go see Knightsbridge Trading Company in Clarendon soon – and let us know what you think!

The New Dog Park in Clarendon in Arlington, James Hunter Park

Woof, Woof! (Happy quote from dog enjoying his first visit to Clarendon’s revamped dog park.)
James Hunter Park is located at Herndon and 13th Streets, North, in a former used car lot. This swanky new dog park (etc.) opened over Labor Day in Clarendon. It’s a combination dog park, passive park area and a demonstration garden of native plants.
In addition to socializing with their friends, Sparky and Fido can also enjoy drinking from the zen-like waterfall. The attractive Clarendon Dog Park is constructed in a sustainable design, using permeable pavement and recycled materials, storm water management, solar power for water, lights and irrigation. The over 8,000 humans who live within a 10-minute walk are also happy about the park – since the park increases their property values, increases municipal revenue and attracts homebuyers and workers.
For more information on the great aspects of Clarendon (or Arlington, in general) life – or for help in finding a new home there – contact me! I’m happy to show you homes currently on the market or can fill you in on properties soon to be listed!
